Petitioner Creative Solutions for Hope (“Petitioner”) filed this petition for writ of mandate in the Orange County Superior Court on October 31, 2022, and the case was transferred to the Los Angeles County Superior Court on January 30, 2023.  The court set trial for July 26, 2024, and the matter has been fully briefed.  Now, Petitioner—who retained new counsel—seeks a trial continuance and authorization to submit supplemental briefing on issues that prior counsel did not address.  The court advances and continues the hearing on the ex parte application from June 26, 2024, to June 28, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.  Any opposition shall be filed on or before June 26, 2024.  Petitioner’s counsel shall provide notice and file proof of service with the court.
