Humo Corporation v. Nightshift Digital, LLC, et al., Case No. 23STCV17937

On its own motion, the Court advances and continues the hearing on Defendants’ special motion to strike under Code of Civil Procedure section 425.16 from October 30, 2023, to November 17, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.  However, the reply brief shall be due based upon the statutory deadline for the prior hearing date.    

Plaintiff filed an ex parte application to shorten time on a motion to lift the discovery stay.  The Court grants the ex parte application and orders as follows:

1.       Plaintiff’s counsel shall file and serve the motion on or before October 23, 2023.

2.       Defendants’ opposition, if any, shall be due on or before November 1, 2023.

3.       Plaintiff’s reply brief, if any, shall be due on or before November 7, 2023.

4.       All pleadings shall be served via email. 

5.       The hearing date shall be November 17, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.

6.       The Court’s clerk shall provide notice.
