THIS HEARING IS BEING CONTINUED.  THE FOLLOWING ORDER WILL BE ISSUED TODAY OR MONDAY MORNING.  THE PARTIES SHOULD NOT APPEAR ON MONDAY.  


Pursuant to California Rules of Court, rule 3.722(d), the Court finds that based upon its review of the record, a case management conference is not necessary in this case.  The Court advances and vacates the case management conference and sets the following dates:

 

Post-Mediation Status Conference:                January 7, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.

         

Final Status Conference:                                 July 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

 

Trial:                                                               July 29, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.                                  

 

The Court shall determine the trial estimate at the final status conference.  The Court orders the parties to file joint trial documents on or before July 11, 2025.  The list of joint trial documents may be found on the Court’s website (www.LACourt.org) on the “Civil” page in the “Courtroom Information” section.  The Court orders the parties to identify all witnesses they intend to call in their respective cases-in-chief, and identify and produce all exhibits they intend to introduce in their respective cases-in-chief, on or before July 11, 2025.

 

The Court orders the parties to comply with all pretrial procedures for Department #39.  The Court orders the parties to post jury fees on or before February 29, 2024, or this case shall proceed as a bench trial.   

 

If any party would like the Court to hold a case management conference and/or re-set the FSC/trial dates, the Court will vacate this order and hold a case management conference.  If so, the parties shall meet-and-confer and file a stipulation and proposed order with three dates on which the parties are available at 8:30 a.m. 

 

Plaintiff’s counsel shall provide notice and file proof of such with the Court.
