minors compromises on behalf of Bassam Khalil (16) for a settlement with
defendant Runyon for $9,000. Petitioner represents total deductions of
$4,122.89 as follows: $2,400 in medical expenses, $2250 in attorney fees (25%),
less $227.11 in filing fees, thereby leaving a net balance of $4,122.89.
The balance is below $5,000, and therefore payable to the
parent. (Probate Code § 3401, 3611, subd. (a).)
