TENTATIVE¿ 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of Claimants and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.¿¿ 

On July 6, 2023, the Court issued a minute order continuing the hearing on this matter to July 12, 2023 because the reduction agreements for medical expenses from Spectrum Health Center and Center for Orthopedics and Sports Excellence must be included as to Adam’s petition.  The Court ordered counsel to file a supplemental declaration attaching the reduction agreements.

On July 12, 2023, the Court issued a minute order continuing the hearing again because the documents identified in the Court’s minute order of July 6, 2023 have not yet been filed.  Accordingly, the Court continued the hearing to August 15, 2023.  The Court also noted that Plaintiff’s counsel represented that she had the missing documents ready and would file the same shortly.

Counsel filed a supplemental declaration on August 10, 2023 that provides evidence that Spectrum Health Center and Center for Orthopedics and Sports Excellence will accept $2,200 and $450, respectively, as full consideration and satisfaction of claimant Adam Zarikyan.  Therefore, the Court GRANTS the Petition to Approve Compromise of Disputed Claims of¿Minors (Davit Zarikyan, age 8, and Adam Zarikyan, age 12).
