The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the three petitions and finds that Petitioners have failed to include the final Medi-Cal lien, as there is a dispute to the amount owed. Further, there appears to be a math error in the petitions: the amount in litigation costs does not add up to the total listed, instead, it amounts to $15,271.77. As a result, the total costs appear to be $45,472.37, not the amount stated in the petitions ($46,972.37).

Therefore, the Petitions to Approve Minors’ Compromises are CONTINUED to allow Petitioners time to address these issues.
