TENTATIVE:

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimants and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the two Expedited Petitions for Minor’s Compromise filed with the Court on March 12, 2024, for Claimants Alexander Ekmekjian (Age 10) and Arthur Ekmekjian (Age 11).

Petitions are supported with necessary documents and attachments. The settlement and attorney’s fees are reasonable, and necessary orders to grant the petitions and orders to deposit money into blocked accounts have been filed.

Accordingly, Petitioners’ Expedited Petitions to Approve Minor’s Compromise of Alexander Ekmekjian (Age 10) and Arthur Ekmekjian (Age 11) are GRANTED.

Order to Show Cause Re: Deposit of Funds into Blocked Account is scheduled for 05/21/2024 at
08:30 AM in Department 29 at Spring Street Courthouse.
