Expedited Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise for Claimant Jayaah Motley (Age 11).

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

Petitioner filed an Expedited Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise and proposed orders on December 9, 2024. The Court noted several deficiencies. (January 9, 2025 Minute Order.)

Petitioner filed a new Expedited Petition on February 5, 2025.

The Court has reviewed this petition and finds the previous deficiencies addressed. All substantive and procedural requirements are satisfied.  The proposed settlement and fees are fair and reasonable.

Accordingly, the Expedited Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise for Jayaah Motley (Age 11) is GRANTED.
