Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise for Claimant Javier Pineda, Jr. (Age 17).

Tentative:

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.  

The Court has reviewed the Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise and proposed orders filed on November 26, 2024.  All substantive requirements are satisfied.  The Court finds the proposed settlement fair and reasonable and finds the proposed attorney’s fees reasonable.

With one minor exception, all procedural requirements are satisfied.  On the proposed orders, Form MC-351 and Form MC-355, Item 1 is blank.

The Court GRANTS and APPROVES the Petition.

The Court DIRECTS the Judicial Assistant to fill in the information on the proposed orders, Form MC-351 and Form MC-355, Item 1.

The Court SETS an OSC for proof of deposit of funds into blocked account.
