Expedited Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise for Claimant Maxwell Harris (Age 17).

Tentative 

The Court excuses the personal appearance of the claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call.   

Petitioner filed an Expedited Petition for Approval of Minor’s Compromise and proposed orders on February 25, 2025. The Court reviewed the petition and noted two deficiencies. 

On June 4 and April 11, 2025, Petitioner filed a new petition and proposed order.  The Court has reviewed this new petition and proposed order. The Court finds the previous deficiencies remedied.  All substantive and procedural requirements are satisfied.  The Court finds the settlement and fees fair and reasonable. 

The Court GRANTS the Petition for Minor’s Compromise for Maxwell Harris (Age 17). 

The Court APPROVES the proposed order submitted on April 11, 2025. 

The Court sets an OSC re proof of purchase of annuity.
