TENTATIVE RULING ON DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO STRIKE OR TAX COSTS
The Court's tentative ruling is to deny Defendant's motion to strike or tax costs. In the Court's view, the particular items that Defendant seeks to strike or tax are recoverable under certain of the categories of recoverable costs set forth in Code of Civil Procedure Section 1033.5 and/or through the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act's authorization in Civil Code Section 1794)(d) of recovery of costs and expenses reasonably incurred by a plaintiff in connection with the commencement and prosecution of litigation under that Act. The Court declines to award Plaintiff attorney's fees incurred in connection with the opposition to the motion to strike or tax costs.
