TENTATIVE RULING ON PLAINTIFF'S MOTION FOR LEAVE TO AMEND COMPLAINT

The Court's tentative ruling is to grant the motion of Plaintiff Jennifer Han for leave to file an amended complaint, which will be the First Amended Complaint. The Court has considered the argument of Defendant Jessica Park that allowing the amendment of the complaint will prejudice her.   The Court disagrees with this argument.  In any event, whatever burdens may be imposed on Ms. Park are outweighed by the policy of liberally allowing leave to amend under Code of Civil Procedure Sections 473 and 576.. 

Plaintiff attached her proposed First Amended Complaint as an exhibit to the motion.  Assuming the tentative decision holds, the Court will at the hearing on the motion direct Plaintiff to file the First Amended Complaint as a separate, stand-alone document within 14 days from the date of the hearing  and serve the First Amended Complaint on the Defendants.
