DEFENDANT CENTER STREET LENDING CORPORATION’S DEMURRER TO PLAINTIFF’S COMPLAINT

Plaintiff Denise Wheeler (“Plaintiff”) filed this action on September 21, 2023 against Defendant Center Street Lending Corporation (“Defendant”). The Complaint alleges causes of action for (1) violation of Civil Code section 2923.55 and (2) violation of Business and Professions Code section 17200 et seq.

Defendant demurs to both causes of action of the Complaint. No opposition to the demurrer was filed. However, the Court notes that on January 8, 2024, Plaintiff filed a First Amended Complaint.

Accordingly, Defendant’s demurrer to the Complaint is moot.
