STATEMENT OF MATERIAL FACTS AND/OR PROCEEDINGS:

           

            This is an action for breach of contract and fraud that was filed on April 2, 2024. Plaintiff alleges that Defendants misrepresented their services, incurred excessive costs, and delivered substandard work on a contract to produce a music video for Plaintiff.

 

Plaintiff moves for attorney Raeesabbas Mohaed to appear as Plaintiff’s counsel pro hac vice.

           

TENTATIVE RULING:

 

Plaintiff moves for attorney Raeesabbas Mohaed to appear as Plaintiff’s counsel pro hac vice.

5.                  __X__  The application shows service on all parties who have appeared and the State Bar of California at its San Francisco office. (Rule 9.40(c)(1).)

15.              __UNKNOWN__  The applicant has not made repeated appearances pursuant to Rule 9.40(b). (The applicant has applied for admission once in the past two years but does not state the outcome of that application.

As the application does not meet all the requirements of Rule 9.40, the Court cannot grant the application of Attorney Mohaed at this time, but the Court will permit the applicant to file a supplemental declaration correcting the deficiencies identified herein.

 

Accordingly, the application of Raeesabbas Mohaed to appear as counsel pro hac vice is CONTINUED to Monday, July 22, 2024 at 9:00 AM. The applicant is directed to serve and file a supplemental declaration correcting the deficiencies identified in this ruling on or before July 28, 2024.
