On July 23, 2024, the Court of Appeal reversed in part this Court’s order on summary judgment and remanded the matter for this Court to enter a new order granting summary adjudication of the second and fifth causes of action and denying summary adjudication of the first, third, and fourth causes of action.  On October 3, 2024, remittitur issued.

On October 22, 2024, the Court set an Order to Show Cause Re: Proposed Order for the Court to Use in Connection to Remittitur.  On November 25, 2024, Plaintiffs and Defendant each submitted a proposed order.

The Order to Show Cause is discharged.  The Court will sign the proposed order submitted by Defendant.

Plaintiffs’ Motion to Vacate Defendant’s cost award is mooted by the Court of Appeal’s reversal of this Court’s order on summary judgment.

Plaintiff’s Motion for Order for Status Conference and to Set Trial is granted.  The Court will set dates for the Final Status Conference and Jury Trial without regard to any preference claimed by Plaintiffs.  The Court will also enter a Trial Preparation Order.
