On November 3, 2023, Defendant Daniel E. Park filed motions to compel Plaintiff Central Metal, Inc.’s responses to Special Interrogatories and to Deem Requests for Admission Admitted.

Concurrently with filing its Oppositions, Plaintiff produced responses.  (Eanet Decl. ¶ 7.)  Plaintiff provides a copy of the responses and proof of this electronic service.  (Eanet Decl., Exs. A-D.)  Defendant confirms that late responses have been provided.  (See generally Replies.)

Accordingly, the Motion to Compel Responses to Special Interrogatories is DENIED.  The Motion to Deem Requests for Admission Admitted is also DENIED.  (See Code Civ. Proc., § 2033.280, subd. (c).)

The requests for sanctions are also denied.

Parties who intend to submit on this tentative must send an email to the Court at SMCDEPT48@lacourt.org indicating intention to submit.  If all parties in the case submit on the tentative ruling, no appearances before the Court are required unless a companion hearing (for example, a Case Management Conference) is also on calendar.
