On the Court’s own motion, the Hearing on Motion to Compel Further Discovery Responses scheduled for 08/10/2022 at 08:30 AM is continued to 11/03/2022 at 8:30 AM (November 3, 2022).

The parties are ordered to promptly schedule an Informal Discovery Conference pursuant to Department 48’s courtroom procedures.

The Final Status Conference scheduled for 09/06/2022 at 8:30 AM and Jury Trial (5 day estimate) scheduled for 09/19/2022 at 10:00 AM are advanced to this date and continued to 11/03/2022 at 8:30 AM (November 3, 2022).  Discovery deadlines are not reset based on the new trial date.

Parties who intend to submit on this tentative must send an email to the Court at SMCDEPT48@lacourt.org indicating intention to submit.  Parties intending to appear are encouraged to appear remotely and should be prepared to comply with Dept. 48’s new requirement that those attending court in person wear a surgical or N95 or KN95 mask.
