On February 6, 2024, Defendants
Ashley N. Frangipane aka Halsey, Leaving Things Behind Touring Inc., and Halsey
Music LLC filed a motion to compel the deposition of Plaintiff Ashley Funches. Plaintiff did not file an opposition.
On
April 30, 2024, Defendants’ counsel filed a supplemental declaration. The parties have been working to schedule Plaintiff’s
deposition. (McClintock Decl. ¶¶ 2-12.) Defendants served a Second Amended Notice of taking
the Deposition of Plaintiff Ashely Funches, Volume III, with a deposition date of
May 8, 2024. (McClintock Decl. ¶ 14 &
Ex. 10.)
The
motion to compel Plaintiff’s deposition is GRANTED. Plaintiff is ordered to appear for deposition
on May 8, 2024, in accordance with the Second Amended Notice.
Moving
party to give notice.
Parties
who intend to submit on this tentative must send an email to the Court at SMCDEPT48@lacourt.org
indicating intention to submit. If all parties
in the case submit on the tentative ruling, no appearances before the Court are
required unless a companion hearing (for example, a Case Management Conference)
is also on calendar.
