On October 27, 2023, Plaintiff Michael Lynn Waters filed this action against Defendant Dawn Harrision.  Plaintiff alleges that he has been wrongfully imprisoned for 26 years, and he seeks monetary compensation from Los Angeles County through Defendant.

On October 24, 2024, Defendant filed a motion for judgment on the pleadings.

On November 5, 2024, Plaintiff filed a request to dismiss this case.

Pursuant to the request of Plaintiff, the Court orders this action DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE.

The motion for judgment on the pleadings is taken off calendar.

Moving party to give notice.
