On September 26, 2024, Petitioner J.G. Wentworth Originations LLC filed this petition for transfer of a structured settlement.

On October 28, 2024, non-party Alfredo Aside LLC filed a Notice of Related Case for In the Matter of: Alfredo Aside, LLC, Case No. 24NWCP00337 (filed on August 19, 2024).  Alfredo Aside LLC did not also file a Notice of Related Case in Case No. 24NWCP00337 as required.  (See California Rules of Court, rule 3.300(d).)

Because Case No. 24NWCP00337 is the earlier-filed case, the Court will continue the hearing in this case until after a determination of whether the two cases should be related.  (See California Rules of Court, rule 3.300(h)(1)(A).)  Alfredo Aside LLC is ordered to immediately file and serve a Notice of Related Case in Case No. 24NWCP00337.
