The motion by Ben Perlmutter, Esq., Perlmutter & Pourshalimi, and Stewart Levin, Esq., Law Offices of Stewart Levin, to withdraw as counsel for plaintiff Josie Escamilla, is DENIED without prejudice. 

As it relates to the Motion to be Relieved filed February 23, 2023, there is no proof of service of the moving papers on the client.  Nor is there a proof of service on the additional declaration filed March 16, 2023.  (Cal. Rules of Court, Rule 3.1362, subd. (d).)  Further, there is no evidence that moving parties gave notice of the current hearing date, as they were ordered to do when this matter was continued on the court’s motion.  (See 3-27-23 minute order [ROA 28].)

Plaintiff’s counsel shall give notice.
