ORDER RE: EXPEDITED PETITION TO APPROVE COMPROMISE OF MINOR

 

 

 

Claimant Ramon Rubio (“Claimant”), a minor, by and through their guardian ad litem, Yolanda Rubio, (“Petitioner”), has agreed to release their claims against Defendant Samuel Cho in exchange for $4,500.  If approved, $1,471.22 will be used to pay medical expenses, leaving a balance of $3,028.78 for Claimant, to be transferred to Petitioner as guardian ad litem for Claimant, to be solely used for Claimant’s benefit. The Court notes that Petitioner is Claimant’s grandmother and has also been appointed as Claimant’s guardian in Case No. DK13161.  (Weissman Decl., Ex. B.)

In light of the foregoing, the Court GRANTS the expedited petition.
