The Law Offices of Bob Khakshooy seeks to be relieved as counsel of record for Plaintiff Marcus King on grounds that there has been a breakdown of the attorney client relationship.  Absent a showing of resulting prejudice, an attorney’s request for withdrawal should be granted.  (People v. Prince (1968) 268 Cal.App.2d 398, 406.) 

Counsel’s proposed order fails to identify the OSC re: Dismissal (Settlement) scheduled for October 21, 2022, at 8:30 a.m.in Department 27.  Accordingly, the hearing on this motion is continued to September 27, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. in Department 27.  A revised proposed order should be filed no later than September 23, 2022.
