[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: SPECIALLY APPEARING DEFENDANT NICOLE CANALE’S MOTION TO QUASH SUMMONS FOR LACK OF PERSONAL JURISDICTION

On September 5, 2024, plaintiffs Sceneries Entertainment Corporation dba Cinema Libre Studio and Cinema Libre Diversity, LLC (“Plaintiffs”) filed this action for breach of contract, common counts, and fraud against defendant Nicole Canale (“Canale”), among others, arising from the marketing and production of a movie called “I am Gitmo.” On November 7, 2024, Canale filed this motion to quash the summons and complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction and to dismiss her from this action.

On January 14, 2025, Plaintiffs filed a request to dismiss Canale. The dismissal was entered on January 15, 2025. Accordingly, this motion is MOOT.
