Plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of class action settlement is CONTINUED to November 9, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in Department CX104 for Plaintiffs to address the following item of concern.  Any supplemental briefing is to be filed by October 31, 2022.

Plaintiff Trinh received two fee waivers in this matter: a general fee waiver (ROA 9) and an additional waiver for complex fees (ROA 21).  Nevertheless, the Lara firm’s costs bill (Lara Decl., Ex. D) includes a number of charges for filing fees, as well as some charges from OneLegal that appear to be filing fees (e.g., a 10/24/21 charge of $60 from OneLegal for “filing of motion”).  The Court will not permit recovery of court fees that have been waived.  Please submit a costs bill that removes all fees that have been waived.
