CASE TITLE: CASE TYPE:

Civil - Unlimited  PI/PD/WD - Other Motion Hearing (Civil) 37-2022-00045121-CU-PO-NC JANE DOE C.T. VS DOE #1 [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED: Motion - Other, 01/16/2024

Plaintiff Jane Doe, C.T.'s motion to compel non-party California Commission on Teaching Credentialing to produce records (ROA # 65) is granted.

After careful review of the parties' arguments and authorities, the court is satisfied that the subpoenaed records are relevant to the claims in this lawsuit and are properly discoverable.

The Court orders the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing to produce all documents responsive to the subpoena dated October 23, 2023. The deposition officer should then forward the documents directly to the plaintiff by no later than May 10, 2024.

The Court further directs the parties to enter into a stipulated protective order prohibiting the disclosure of any documents produced by the Commission to third parties absent a stipulation between the parties or further Court order.

This minute order constitutes the Court's order. No party is required to submit a proposed order after hearing.

This is the tentative ruling for an appearance hearing (in person or remote) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024. If no party appears at the hearing, this tentative ruling will become the order of the Court as of April 19, 2024. If the parties are satisfied with the Court's tentative ruling or do not otherwise wish to argue the motion, they are encouraged to give notice to the Court and each other of their intention not to appear, though this notice is not required.
